OK, that headline was a little sensational. The KC defense hasn't actually talked trash, but the subtext of their comments is, "Drew Bledsoe is a sitting duck". You can't really blame them, they've seen the same thing on film that we've been talking about for a couple of weeks, mainly that our offensive line stinks at the moment. Check out what their saying.
"This is a good chance for our defensive line to go out and add up on the sack category and get some good hits on the guy," Chiefs cornerback Eric Warfield said. "It's all a matter of how well their offensive line protects."
"They're doing what they can to keep him healthy and keep him protected and get the ball down the field at the same time," Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil said.
"Drew doesn't have the feet," Warfield said. "He's not a big concern when he's rolling out of the pocket. He's taken a lot of hits during his career. That's what he's known for. He's going to take some sacks, and yet he's a playmaker. He makes big plays with his arm."
In other words, the guy plays with cement shoes so we're going to try and decapitate him on Sunday. Expect a healthy dose of blitzes from KC, and pray that we give Drew enough time to burn them for big plays.
"We always expect with Drew being at quarterback that people will try to get at us some," Parcells said.
Parcells, the master of stating the obvious.

I actually think the Cowboys pick up the blitz fairly well, especially when Barber is in the game. I worry more about our linemen just flat out getting beat by their 4 down linemen than I do about a LB or DB blitzing. Parcells seems to really practice and stress alot about picking up the blitz.
