Quick rundown of the Parcells press conference. It's been a busy afternoon personally so the recap will be rather short.
Both Arron Glenn and Anthony Henry are listed as questionable. Henry returned to practice today and if he holds up as well the next few days he will likely play.
If we fill the open roster spot it won't be until Friday. There are no plans to play Marc Colombo or Marcus Price at tackle, we will be going with Tucker and Petitti. Both Al Johnson and Andre Gurode will play this week. The line needs to block better but so do the TE's, WR's and RB's. Everyone on offense must contribute.
Dallas needs to win 3 of the last 4 to have a shot at the playoffs.
Bledsoe doesn't need more time than the average QB, we are just not executing well in this area.
Lousaka Polite will probably be involved in the game plan this week.
Talked to Fujita, Pile and Caver (ex-Chiefs) about the capabilities of players on the Kansas City team. Didn't talk about schemes but about players.

You know I don't know how everyone else feels about this, but I really think Parcells should utilize Polite more as a lead blocker. I think this would greatly help the running game and help out our O line line. I just happen to believe that a lead fullback is better than two tightend formation. I highly doubt Emmitt Smith would currently be the all-time rushing king if it wasn't for Moose Johnson. I just wonder how much better Jones would be with a lead FB. Just a thought after reading that Polite would be more involved this week.

Grizz--congrats on being selected by Deadspin as one of the best Cowboys blogs :)

Terry,
We have utilized Polite as a lead fullback blocker, he has just wiffed on so any blocks in the hole that Bill uses the tightends more in that role. A tell tale sign polite isn't a great lead blocker is that everytime we get into the goal line situation, we put Spears in to do that job.

Thanks Monkey, it was nice to get recognized. I might have some good news about the blog to announce very soon. It will be good for all of us. Can't say what it is yet, but stay tuned.
Terry - I agree, we need a killer fullback.
Deke - I agree, Polite ain't it.
But he's all we got right now so let's see something from him this week. You gotta believe some of these guys on offense are going to wake up and play some ball. They better start doing it Sunday.

Wonder if Jamar Martin will be signed. Anybody know whats going on with him?

No word on Martin since his workout. The Cowboys still have an open roster spot. But Parcells said he won't fill it until Friday.
